About Taste Burundi
Taste Burundi, a premium horticultural brand of Taste Burundi Company SPRL, has been growing and exporting Burundi’s finest produce since 2025. Our portfolio features exceptional fruits—including passion fruits, avocados, tamarillos, mangoes, and pineapples—alongside premium vegetables and herbs.
As a consortium of three leading farming enterprises—TEZA AGRIPARK ENTERPRISE SPRL, RAFIKI PRODUCE BURUNDI LTD, and NIYOKIRI SPRL—we combine our own 43-hectare farms in Burunga, Buhumuza, and Gitega with a vast network of trained partner farmers. This integrated approach guarantees both superior quality and consistent supply at scale across the country. Strategically headquartered just 10 kilometers from Melchior Ndadaye International Airport, our warehouse and office enable us to efficiently deliver the fresh, vibrant taste of Burundi to the world.

Sustainable & Natural Cultivation
Addressing the global challenge of maximum residue levels (MRLs) is a priority. We have 19 acre model farm of fruits , vegetables and herbs in the high lands of Burunga Province, Matana Commune (1,800-2,200 MASL) and pioneered a range of Burundian cultural methods for disease and pest control. This sustainable approach allows us to significantly reduce and carefully manage any spray programs, ensuring our produce is not only delicious but also grown responsibly.
Product Integrity & Traceability
To guarantee complete quality control and full traceability, all products exported in our signature packaging are from our own dedicated production. This vertical integration allows us to promise consistency, purity, and the true, untarnished taste of Burundi in every box.
